Be A Beauty of the Sea

Olivia loves The Little Mermaid as much as I did as a child. I distinctly remember sitting on the floor of my best friends living room, singing along as we watched Ariel, and telling her that people thought I sounded “just like Ariel.” (Ummmmm, pretty sure no one actually told me that.) But I wanted to be Ariel SO bad. Like if she had looked at me and said “yeah, you totally do,” I would have died. DIED.

Truthfully, that’s probably what fueled my desire to get a degree in marine biology. It all comes back to Ariel. Life choices based on a Disney movie. Goals.

Getting dressed up like a mermaid, pretending I was Ariel, and having my picture taken would have been the holy trifecta for me. So having the opportunity to allow Olivia to magically transform into a mermaid is pretty sweet. Watching her create an imaginary world and enjoy something as much as I did is so special. It’s one of motherhood’s greatest joys.

Make your little one’s dream of transforming into a mermaid come true! We’ll be shooting at a beautiful beach at Lake Monticello on Sunday, September 16th and I’ll have tails on hand in sizes 3T-10, as well as seashell tops. The session cost is $150 and includes 1 digital image of your choosing from your gallery. Each session will have a gallery of 10-20 images from which to choose. Additional images and prints may also be purchased. Session times will be 2:00, 2:30, 3:00, 3:30, 4:00, 5:00, 5:30, and 6:00.
