Goodbye Summer | Charlottesville VA Child Photographer

Today my oldest son started pre-school. On the one hand, I’m thrilled for him. I know he’ll love school. Getting to socialize with all those other kids and learning new things are right up his alley. But it also makes me a little sad that we’re closing the baby chapter of his life. Summer is officially over today and the fall semester has begun.

As a kid, what did you want to do most during the summer? Play outside! And if you got your mom or dad to play with you that was a added bonus. What I love most about these photos is that they feel like summer to me. Sweet, simple, real.
