Relax | Charlottesville VA Family Photographer

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this family here in Charlottesville twice now. The thing that I love about working with them is that they are so relaxed. Some times clients push really hard to get the perfect image that they have in their head of what their family should look like. That’s not a bad thing by any means, but some times the perfect image of your family isn’t the one you think it will be or should be. I have a lot of moms and dads, myself included, that get easily stressed if their child isn’t acting just so or if they would rather run around me five times then sit down next to their brother. I can promise you, and I know from personal experience with my own two boys, that the more stressed the parents get, the more the kids don’t want anything to do with the pictures. I remember walking away from this session thinking I needed to be more like Lisa the next time we have family pictures taken.
