Winter Fields | Charlottesville VA Child Family Photographer
It’s amazing how different locations can look in just a few short months. I love this field in the summer for the wild flowers and wide open expanses but in the winter, the grasses turn this amazing deeper tone that I am completely digging. Plus the bug activity was non existent! Who can’t appreciate that?!
This family has become part of our extended family out here in Virginia. Since all my family lives back in Indiana and my in-laws are in South Korea, we’ve been really blessed to find another set of families that we consider our Virginia family. Our kids play together, we do short day trips/vacations together, and I know that if I need them I can call and they will be here to help as quickly as possible. God has really blessed us with that and did so almost immediately after arriving in Charlottesville. I know that this is the reason we can now refer to Charlottesville as home.
Ana is like a cousin to my kids. They love playing with her and the high pitch screeching that occurs can only be akin to a bunch of banshees. I’m so grateful that they have friends to be close with as they await cousins from the aunts and uncles. We’re expecting our first niece in March and, while the boys are excited, I’m SUPER excited to have a little girl to dote on!
And these little flowers that she’s holding? I have no idea what they are but they make an awesome centerpiece in a little left over milk bottle from a certain vintage circus birthday party.
gorgeous! I love the softness of the pictures!! You do amazing work! <3 p31
