Liz and I have been friends since college. We actually became fast friends confiding in each other about the boys in our lives whom years later became our husbands. Liz, Simon, and I spent many nights out at the local Cheesecake Factory laughing and having drinks. Those were some of the best times I had during college. Every time I eat a steak I always remember that Simon eats the fat trimmings. Bleck!

Liz and I are so similar, especially in our reactions to things. I love that we can call each other and laugh (or cry as the case may be) about the different stages that are kids are in and I can fill her in on some of the joys that she’ll be facing in the not too distant future. I know she appreciates this. Especially when it’s one of the horrors that no parent should ever have to face.

And baby Elijah, could you be any cuter?! Seriously, such a little cutie pie.

I’m such a sucker for mom and baby photos. They just melt my heart. Even more so when it’s someone you already love expressing their love for their child.

Congratulations you guys! I couldn’t be happier for you and I can’t wait until our boys can all have a play date together. Keeping my fingers crossed that would take place on Grand Cayman! Now who’s going to convince Isaac?
