Capturing the fleeting magic of a newborn’s arrival is a privilege. During this newborn studio session, we captured all the details of this new little one and even got some shots with Mom and Dad. 

My fully stocked Charlottesville studio has all the props, sets, wraps, and swaddles you could imagine and then some! We set up a couple of different seasonal sets for this baby that were so cute. This is such a fun time of year to get creative with the props during our studio sessions. 

It wouldn’t really be a newborn session if we didn’t capture all the tiny details we know will change so fast. From delicate hands and feet to adorable toes and fleeting smiles, these are the details that change in the blink of an eye. One of my favorite things about photographing newborns is capturing all of their expressions. They are so cute and often funny. I just can’t get enough of them! 

While the spotlight is on the newborn, family stories are often incomplete without the parents, siblings, or, in this case, pets! In my studio, parents and siblings are always welcome to join in the session because capturing the bond you share is just as important as all the tiny details.
