Oh the hair that little Hudson had! That mane was untamable! I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a baby with so much hair in person. I seem to produce babies that are challenged in the hair department so this was an awesome treat for me.

I know I’ve talked about it before but I often have objections to having newborn sessions in people’s homes because they just aren’t pretty enough. I always say that we can work it out and that part of my job is finding the areas that have just the right light. All the portraits of mom and dad with baby Hudson were taken in their laundry room. Mom was nursing and I just happened to wander in there. I knew immediately that was the area I would be using so I asked mom if it would be okay for me to haul all their laundry baskets out into the hallway. While she may have been wondering what the heck I was doing, unless she tells everyone that’s where they were taken, I think all you can see if the love they have for the second little man.
