Sweet Newborn Studio Session | Charlottesville Photographer

There is something about a newborn photography session that holds a special place in my heart. No matter what is happening in the chaotic world around me, it is my place of peace. This sweet newborn studio session was certainly no exception! In the midst of a busy season, nothing beats hanging out with a brand new baby and her parents. 

This girl was the absolute sweetest little thing. She was wide awake during part of our session, so we got to snag some pictures of her making lots of faces. It’s so fun to watch the many faces of babies as they figure out how to use their bodies. I just love capturing those tiny features and expressions for families to look back on. 

Capturing the freshness of your little one is a must. They change SO quickly, especially in those first few weeks of life. Things are such a blur as you move through diaper changes, midnight feedings, and getting to know this new person in your family. It’s easy to forget what they looked like in those first few days, and I want you to be able to remember every one of their little details when you finally emerge from that newborn haze. 

Not only will you want to look back on these pictures to cherish the time when they were little, but you’ll also want to enjoy it now by printing your images. As a Charlottesville photographer, I don’t think there is anything worse than having a bunch of pictures trapped in the digital space. They need to be brought to life in an album or a canvas for your wall.
