2 Weeks In | Charlottesville Photographer
I promised to do an update on my MOLO Challenge progress every two weeks and guess what? It’s been two weeks. I think these posts are all going to be just as uncomfortable as the initial post I made but it definitely serves as some accountability.
It looks like as of the 14 day mark I have lost five pounds. I guess I should be really pleased with that as I’ve been working really hard at eating well and meeting my exercise goals, but I have to admit that I’m a little disappointed. Maybe I’ve seen too many Biggest Loser episodes or seen too many people post on Facebook about losing 8-10lbs in a week using whatever product. I know that is a totally unreal expectation. But yet, I still wish that my 5 was a 10. And here’s the other thing, I’ve lost this same 5lbs before. Like at least three times. And it keeps coming back. I can lose the first 5-8lbs but then lose steam and it ends up coming back a month or two later. Ugh. So let’s just say that I’m very skeptical of myself right now.
I’m going to post my before picture next to a picture from the week of the update with each post. I had my husband take the current week’s pictures and clearly they are not from the same perspective, but we’ll work on that. I don’t think you can tell any difference, but really 5lbs is just a pinch here and a pinch there so you wouldn’t really see much difference. I’m sure there will be more of a difference as the weeks go on though. At least that’s the plan.
Can’t tell? Honey all five came right off your belly. If I lost weight right off my belly, I’d be so motivated! Keep it up!

Well done! That is great progress. Remember 2 lbs per week is great to loose for long term loss. Also remember that muscles weigh more.
I was just thinking about your original post today! I need to get my butt in gear, but I keep getting injured and then it is so hard to get back going. I can totally see a loss, too, your shirt looks so much looser in the first shot! Way to go!

Thanks for all the encouragement ladies! It really is helping to keep me motivated. Especially on a day when I don’t feel like I’m making any progress and just want to order a pizza. Clearly, I eat my feelings. 🙂
