Catching Snowflakes | Charlottesville VA Child Photographer

We had a bit of of snow here this week. It was much less than predicted each day but I’m learning that is a common thing here in Charlottesville. Schools were canceled, evening events postponed, warning emails issues, and it was just a little dusting. Since we didn’t have school I bribed Noah with two chocolate morsels to go out coatless and play with me. We decided to try to catch the snowflakes on our tongues but due to the extreme lack of actual falling flakes it proved to be a bit difficult. I think we both had fun nonetheless and we even managed to catch two or three before we froze to death!

Can you feel the attitude? He didn’t appreciate me telling him that he had to stick his tongue out further and look up if he had any chance of catching one. I think this expression captures him at this point in his life perfectly.
