Lucas Is One! | Charlottesville VA Baby Child Photographer

I know that everyone tells you to enjoy your children when they’re young because time will just fly, but I didn’t expect this last year to have gone by so quickly! As many struggles and obstacles as I’ve had to over come this past year, you wouldn’t have thought it would have moved so quickly. I feel like I should still be in the barely sleeping, trying to get the whole breast feeding thing down phase, but here my baby is walking around the house. Noah proudly announced a few days ago that Lucas was no longer a baby so now he needed a baby sister. I’m not sure that’s going to be happening any time soon but it’s nice to know that he wants one.

We did a vintage circus theme for his birthday party and I had this super cute onesie made for him by Leslie at Stitch To My Lu. Although I ordered from her last minute and had her do a custom design for me, she had it to me very quickly and I couldn’t have been more happy with the final product. So thanks Leslie! The day that I received it in the mail I decided I had to do a mini shoot with Lucas in it before he got it all covered in cake. Here are just a few of my favorites. Happy Birthday Lucas!
