Shallow Depth Of Field | Ruckersville Newborn Photographer

It’s time for the next Clickin’ Moms blog circle! June’s theme was shallow depth of field. I first tried to get a macro shot of my little guy’s eyelashes. They are just so long and I love them. But, aside from tying him down, I couldn’t make the great artistic vision happen. In defeat, I sat on the floor and as Lucas climbed into my lap I despairingly asked him, “If mommy can’t take pictures of you, then what should I take a picture of?” To that he pointed his grubby little finger at the glass door and replied, “Fwowers!” So we walked across the street and cut some flowers from the 4 foot tall weeds that were growing in our neighbor’s yard. Incidentally, he weed wacked them down the very next day. I wonder if that had anything to do with me?

Now pop on over to Dina’s blog to see what she came up with!
