Some Personal Time – Charlottesville VA Newborn Photographer

Last week, another photographer posted in a mutual facebook group that she had permission to shoot in this amazing canola field. She was inviting anyone in the group out to shoot with her. Normally, I’m not the type of person who jumps into the car to meet up a facebook fan, but I had met Andrea at a local photography meet-up so I told Isaac that the following day I’d be taking the boys an hour away to go play in a field a flowers. Needless to say, he thought I was completely nuts. I mean boys in a field of flowers?

I had had a rough personal week and this shoot was just what I needed! Andrea and I laughed a ton, got completely covered in yellow pollen, we didn’t get rained on despite the gigantic black looming cloud over head, and my boys ended the shoot in smiles. Thanks so much for inviting us out Andrea!
