A Mountain Wedding | Charlottesville VA Wedding Photographer

This was one of my favorite weddings this past year. The setting was absolutely amazing (The top of a mountain at sunset? Um, yes please!) and all their handmade touches were really in tune with my personal aesthetic. The burlap on the cake, genius. The custom made guest book she purchased from etsy, loved it. The simple wood bases with glass jars of flowers as her center pieces, awesome. When we first arrived at the site it was raining and quite frankly we didn’t know if it was going to clear up or not but come time for the ceremony it was absolutely beautiful. I have to say that I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more beautiful sunset than what we got that night. Aside from losing my shoes in the mud several times that night, things went very smoothly and I think Kiersten and Jeff pulled together a fantastic event. Congratulations you guys!
