Simple Engagement | Charlottesville VA Engagement Photographer

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of getting together with some local photographers and doing some work that was a little different than my usual. It was really nice to get to try out a location that I wouldn’t or haven’t  typically used. I don’t know if you have noticed, but I tend to shoot in fields or homes. A parking lot, therefore, might just be the antithesis of my normal environment.

Perhaps the greatest thing about this environment is that it showed me exactly how much I have changed in the last year. This time last year I would have gone for the area in the parking lot that I thought was the prettiest. Regardless of if that was where the best light was or not. This time, I picked the area that had the best light, even though it was right next to a dumpster. Romantic! The results are some simple engagement photos, done in just ten minutes, that I’m really happy with.
